The Pauline Family in the Philippines celebrated Founder’s Day on November 23, 2024, anticipating the 53rd Death Anniversary of Blessed James Alberione, who died on November 26, 1971. As per tradition, the Pauline Congregations and Institutes take turns hosting the event, and this year it fell upon the Sisters of Jesus Good Shepherd (SJBP), or Pastorelle Sisters, who organized it at their Jesus Good Shepherd School in Imus, Cavite. The theme of the celebration was “Sa Yapak ni Alberione, May Pagkakaisa na Puno ng Pag-asa,” highlighting the spirit of unity among the Paulines and the virtue of hope, which is the central theme of Jubilee 2025.

The Paulines came in full force: Society of St. Paul (SSP), Daughters of St. Paul (FSP), Pious Disciples of the Divine Master (PDDM), Pastorelle Sisters (SJBP), Institute of Our Lady of the Annunciation (IMSA), Institute of St. Gabriel Archangel (ISGA), Institute of the Holy Family (ISF), and the Association of Pauline Cooperators (APC). Upon arrival from their respective communities, attendees were served coffee or a complete breakfast, providing ample time for conversations and participation in games organized by the hosts, including shoot the rings, pabitin, and hitting the pot.

The Eucharistic celebration began at 10:30 AM in the school chapel, presided over by SSP Vicar Provincial Fr. Celso Godilano, SSP, with Fr. Edward Dantis, SSP as homilist, and Pauline priests as concelebrants. Reflecting on the Gospel reading where Jesus proclaimed Himself as the Way, the Truth, and the Life, Fr. Dantis spoke about finding the right path in life and the way to God. He also interpreted "puno" not only as “full” but also as “tree,” pointing to Jesus as the “tree of hope.”

After the Mass, the community shared lunch, followed by a program in the school gym hosted by Fr. Micha Miguel Competente, SSP, and Sr. Junlyn Maragañas, SJBP. Each Congregation and Institute presented a performance—be it a play, dance, or song. Between acts, quizzes about the life of Blessed Alberione were held, with prizes awarded to participants.

During the program, the Bishop of Imus, Msgr. Reynaldo Evangelista D.D., dropped by to greet the Paulines, offering his warm welcome. Pauline superiors and friends took the opportunity to have photos with him.

Before returning to their respective communities, the sons and daughters of Blessed Alberione expressed their gratitude to the Pastorelle Sisters, posed for group photos, and enjoyed ice cream and snacks.
